Lids & Caps
IBC lids and caps protect the contents of your tote from contamination, evaporation, and spillage. Our screw caps come with built-in EPDM or Viton gaskets for a leak-proof seal. Vented caps are essential for liquids that off-gas or for gravity-feed applications where air intake is needed. Dust caps snap over valve outlets to keep debris and insects out during storage. All of our lids are compatible with standard 150mm (6-inch) IBC openings and are available in food-grade polypropylene or HDPE materials.

Specifications
Installation Tips
Hand-tighten the cap onto the fill opening until the gasket compresses evenly. Add a quarter turn past hand-tight for a secure seal. Do not over-tighten, as this can crack the bottle neck ring or permanently deform the gasket. For vented caps, ensure the vent hole faces upward to prevent liquid escape.
Adapters & Fittings
Our adapter and fitting collection solves every connection challenge you will encounter with IBC totes. The S60x6 coarse thread is the most common IBC outlet thread worldwide, and we stock adapters to convert it to garden hose thread (GHT), NPT pipe thread, cam lock, and sanitary tri-clamp connections. Cam lock fittings are ideal for quick-connect and disconnect applications in chemical transfer, agriculture, and food processing. All fittings are available in polypropylene, HDPE, and 304 or 316 stainless steel depending on chemical compatibility requirements.

Installation Tips
Thread the adapter onto the IBC valve outlet by hand, then tighten with a strap wrench or channel-lock pliers (use a cloth to protect the fitting surface). Do not use pipe tape on coarse buttress threads as it can interfere with the gasket seal. For NPT connections, use PTFE tape on the NPT side only. Verify the connection is leak-free before pressurizing.
Gaskets & Seals
A proper gasket is the difference between a secure, leak-free IBC tote and a costly spill. We carry gaskets in multiple elastomer compounds to match your application. EPDM is the standard choice for water, mild chemicals, and general-purpose use. Viton provides superior resistance to fuels, solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Silicone gaskets are FDA-compliant for food and beverage contact. PTFE offers the broadest chemical compatibility of any gasket material. Our gaskets are available in standard 150mm lid sizes, 2-inch valve sizes, and custom diameters upon request.
Products Available

Installation Tips
Remove the old gasket completely and clean the gasket seating surface with a cloth. Place the new gasket in the groove, ensuring it sits flat without twists or bunching. Reassemble the valve or cap and tighten to the manufacturer's recommended torque. Run a leak test with water before filling with product. Replace gaskets every 6-12 months or whenever you notice dripping.
Heating Blankets & Insulation
Protect your IBC tote contents from freezing or maintain optimal viscosity with our heating blankets and insulation accessories. Full-wrap heating blankets distribute even heat across the entire tote surface and include adjustable thermostats to maintain temperatures between 40 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Insulated thermal jackets reduce heat loss by up to 90 percent, keeping contents at temperature longer and reducing energy costs. These accessories are essential for storing honey, oils, soaps, resins, and any temperature-sensitive liquid during cold Niagara Falls winters.

Specifications
Installation Tips
Wrap the heating blanket around the IBC tote with the thermostat probe positioned at mid-height on the bottle. Secure with the built-in straps or velcro closures. Set the thermostat to your desired temperature. For best results, combine a heating blanket with an insulated jacket to reduce energy consumption by up to 50%. Never leave heating blankets operating on empty totes.
Liners
IBC liners create a clean barrier between the tote bottle and your product, enabling you to reuse the same container for different liquids without cross-contamination. Our food-grade liners are FDA and EU compliant, making them perfect for edible oils, juices, syrups, and wine. Chemical-resistant liners are constructed from thicker-gauge HDPE and are suitable for solvents, acids, and industrial chemicals. Form-fit liners include integrated spout connections that align with the tote valve for clean dispensing. Liners dramatically extend the usable life of your IBC totes and reduce cleaning costs.
Products Available

Specifications
Installation Tips
Fold the liner and insert it through the top fill opening of the IBC tote. Unfold inside the tote and drape the top over the fill opening rim. For form-fit liners, thread the drain spout through the valve opening and connect to the tote valve. Fill the liner through the top opening. Do not fill at high pressure as this can tear the liner at seam points. When empty, remove the liner and dispose or recycle according to your facility procedures.
Labels & Placards
Proper labeling is not optional when transporting or storing hazardous materials in IBC totes. We supply DOT-compliant hazmat placards for all nine hazard classes, GHS-formatted chemical labels with pictograms and signal words, and UN performance markings for certified containers. Custom labels can be printed with your company branding, product name, SDS reference numbers, and batch tracking codes. Our labels use weather-resistant adhesive and UV-stable inks to remain legible through outdoor storage and transportation.

Specifications
Installation Tips
Clean the tote surface with isopropyl alcohol to remove any dust, oils, or old adhesive residue. Apply the label to a flat section of the cage or bottle, pressing firmly from center outward to eliminate air bubbles. For DOT placards, mount in the required position on all four sides of the container or transport vehicle. Ensure labels are visible and legible at a distance of 25 feet per DOT regulations.
Spill Containment Pallets
EPA regulations require secondary containment for IBC totes storing hazardous liquids. Our spill containment pallets are constructed from chemical-resistant polyethylene and are designed to hold the full volume of one or more totes in the event of a leak or rupture. Single-tote pallets have a sump capacity of 275 gallons and fit standard 48 by 40 inch footprint totes. Grated decks allow visual inspection of the sump while solid decks provide a smooth surface for drum placement. All pallets are forklift-compatible and UV-stabilized for outdoor use.
Products Available

Specifications
Installation Tips
Place the containment pallet on a flat, level surface. For outdoor use, position on a concrete pad to prevent settling. Insert the grate or solid deck into the pallet frame. Use a forklift to place IBC totes onto the pallet, ensuring they are centered and stable. If using a drain plug, keep it closed during normal operation and only open to drain accumulated rainwater after verifying it is not contaminated. Inspect sump capacity annually and after every spill event.

Accessory Use Case Scenarios
Real-world scenarios showing which accessories solve specific problems.
Gravity-feed dispensing to a garden hose
Accessories needed: S60x6 to GHT adapter + Vented cap
The vented cap allows air to enter the tote as liquid flows out, preventing vacuum lock. The GHT adapter connects directly to standard garden hoses for easy dispensing.
Storing honey or thick oils in winter
Accessories needed: Full-wrap heating blanket + Insulated jacket + Thermostat
The heating blanket maintains honey at dispensing viscosity (above 100F). The insulated jacket reduces energy costs by up to 50%. The thermostat prevents overheating.
Using a used tote for a different product
Accessories needed: Form-fit liner + New gasket
The liner creates a clean barrier between the old tote and your new product, eliminating cross-contamination risk. A new gasket ensures a leak-free seal.
Chemical transfer between two totes
Accessories needed: 2x Cam lock fittings + Chemical hose + Viton gaskets
Cam lock fittings allow tool-free connection and disconnection. Viton gaskets resist chemical degradation. A proper chemical hose completes the transfer system.
Outdoor hazmat storage compliance
Accessories needed: Spill containment pallet + DOT placards + GHS labels
The containment pallet meets EPA secondary containment requirements. DOT placards and GHS labels satisfy OSHA labeling requirements.
Food-grade dispensing from a used tote
Accessories needed: Food-grade liner + Silicone gasket + Stainless valve
The FDA-compliant liner creates a food-safe barrier. Silicone gasket and stainless valve ensure all product-contact surfaces are food-grade.
Common Accessory Mistakes to Avoid
Using EPDM gaskets with solvents or fuels
EPDM swells and degrades in contact with petroleum products and organic solvents. Use Viton or PTFE for these applications. An EPDM gasket exposed to solvents can fail within days.
Applying pipe tape to S60x6 threads
PTFE pipe tape is designed for tapered NPT threads, not the flat buttress threads used on IBC totes. Tape on S60x6 threads interferes with the gasket seal and can cause leaks. Use the gasket alone.
Over-tightening adapters
Plastic adapters (PP, HDPE) crack under excessive torque. Hand-tight plus a quarter turn with a strap wrench is sufficient. If it still leaks, the gasket needs replacing, not more torque.
Running heating blankets on empty totes
Without liquid to absorb heat, the HDPE bottle can overheat and warp. Always ensure the tote contains liquid before energizing a heating blanket. Most thermostats have a high-limit safety cutoff, but do not rely on it.
Using non-food-grade liners for food applications
Industrial liners may contain plasticizers, antioxidants, or processing aids that are not FDA-compliant. Always verify FDA 21 CFR compliance for any liner that will contact food products.
Forgetting to replace the valve dust cap
The dust cap is not just cosmetic. It prevents contamination from insects, debris, and rainwater between uses. It also prevents accidental valve opening during handling and transport.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which thread type my IBC tote has?
The vast majority of IBC totes sold in North America use the S60x6 coarse buttress thread (60mm diameter, 6mm pitch). European totes may use DN50 or DN80 DIN fittings, and some older US equipment uses 2-inch NPT. If you are unsure, measure the outer diameter of the valve outlet thread or send us a photo and we will identify it for free.
Can I use a heating blanket with a plastic pallet IBC tote?
Yes. Full-wrap heating blankets and base heater pads are compatible with both steel and plastic pallet IBC totes. However, do not exceed the temperature rating of the pallet material. Most HDPE pallets are rated to 140F. Set your thermostat below this limit.
How often should I replace gaskets?
For general use with water or mild chemicals, replace gaskets every 12 months or whenever you notice dripping. For aggressive chemicals, solvents, or high-temperature applications, inspect gaskets every 3 months and replace at the first sign of hardening, cracking, or compression set.
Are your liners compatible with all IBC tote brands?
Yes. Our liners are designed to fit the standard IBC tote internal dimensions for both 275-gallon and 330-gallon sizes. They are compatible with Schutz, Mauser, Greif, and all other major manufacturers. Form-fit liners with drain ports are universally compatible with standard 2-inch valve openings.
Do spill containment pallets work outdoors?
Yes. Our containment pallets are made from UV-stabilized HDPE and are designed for outdoor use. However, rainwater will accumulate in the sump. You must regularly drain accumulated rainwater (after verifying it is not contaminated) to maintain the full spill containment capacity.
Can I get food-grade versions of all accessories?
Food-grade options are available for lids, gaskets, valves, adapters, and liners. Heating blankets and spill pallets do not contact the product and therefore do not need food-grade certification. All food-grade accessories are clearly marked and ship with FDA compliance documentation.
Do you ship accessories separately from totes?
Yes. Accessories can be ordered independently of totes. We ship small accessories via UPS or FedEx and larger items (heating blankets, containment pallets) via freight. Local pickup is always available at our Niagara Falls facility. Most in-stock accessories ship within 1-2 business days.
